The luxury boutique hotel, THE VIEW Lugano, is dedicated to lovers of beauty and will be one of the sponsors of the WOPART exhibition, the first Art fair in Europe to exhibit masterpieces on paper (antique, modern, contemporary and photography). The exhibition will run from the 14th to the 17th of September.

A member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, THE VIEW Lugano, has the most most breath-taking view overlooking the bay of Lugano and is a masterpiece of design, winning the World Travel Award for 2 consecutive years as “Switzerland’s Leading Design Hotel”.

This distinctive quality and a sensibility for art in general, makes THE VIEW Lugano the ideal partner for WOPART, which will open its doors for the second edition in the six thousand square metres of the Centro Esposizioni Lugano. It is destined to become one of the most important art exhibitions in Switzerland.

The whole city will take part with events, initiatives and exhibitions of a variety works, in a number of locations.

On the 16th of September, THE VIEW Lugano will host the WOPART Gala dinner, carefully prepared by Chef Mauro Grandi, and accompanied by Pommery Champagne, a brand that has understood the importance of entrepreneurial patronage since 1860, and that still today commissions art works and supports contemporary art.

The second edition of WOPART will bring together a number of international art Galleries (65) that will exhibit works on paper from different periods in art history – from antique drawings to modern prints, artist’s sketch books, photographs by famous photographers, Japanese watercolours, and work on paper by contemporary artists.
